"Water in the Desert"

One of my digital paintings, "The Las Vegas Mojave Desert Bursts In Color After The Rain," was exhibited in Las Vegas as part of the Water in the Desert group exhibition at the Winchester Gallery. It was selected as the first piece visitors saw as they entered the gallery and the last piece seen when they left. Below is a photo of the digital painting on exhibition and the front and back of the invitation for all the exhibition information. We hope you were able to visit this excellent group exhibit.

The Las Vegas Mojave Desert Bursts In Color After The Rain
Life and color burst after a desert rain.
Water Drops See The Desert Through Ethereal Lenses
Everyone should venture into the Mojave Desert foothills surrounding Mount Charleston after a sweet desert rain. People living in the desert can smell the rain in the far off distance. Can ethereal water drop eyes reveal a new perspective?
Hope Springs Eternal
During my 36 mile morning ride through the Mojave Desert something buried deep within the endless sea of scrub brush caught the corner of my eye. Venturing off my bike, far into the scrub, I found the most improbable scene, apparently intended to be a hidden statement, making it all the more beautiful and sublime.

LA Street Art Interpretations
Around 10 years ago the LA street art scene was amazing. Countless hours were happily spent seeking out and visiting these masterpieces. Conversation floated that the mayor's office would criminalize and paint over street art. I photographed much these works for others to appreciate in the future.
Over time I created a few interpretations as large digital paintings on canvas and gator board. Below are two of these works.
For those viewing on a computer please be sure to click the Full Screen icon in the lower right of the slide show to see the fullest view.
Below are descriptions of the two works in the slideshow. They are for sale. Please Contact Us for for more details.
